Renovator Websites

Three renovation businesses, three different websites

A kitchen renovator, a bathroom renovator and a joinery workshop sell in different ways, so their sites are built differently. Each sample is a real page in the browser, not a screenshot, for a business that doesn’t exist.

Built around how the business sells, not a template

A design-led kitchen business needs a browsing couple to book a consult. A bathroom renovator needs a worried owner to trust the waterproofing. A joinery workshop needs homeowners and builders to find two different front doors. Each sample below shows the layout we would use for that kind of business, and the reason behind every choice.

On your site, the drawings become photos of your own finished rooms, the words come from you, and the licence line shows your real licence details. The samples are not templates you pick from: the page structure follows how your business sells, which we work out on the first call. Business names, suburbs and project descriptions on this page are invented for illustration.

Wattle & Grain Kitchens

A kitchen business that sells design-led kitchens to owners in one part of a city. The site is built to turn a browsing couple into a booked design consult.

What this layout does

Licence line under the navigation
Buyers who check licences find it before they scroll. The full details repeat in every page footer.
One button, named for the real next step
“Book a design consult” is what the business wants, so it is the only button in the header and hero.
Projects captioned by layout and suburb
Each card says what the room was, where, and the main materials, so a buyer can find work like theirs.
The process next to the form
The four steps of a kitchen job sit beside the enquiry form, answering “what happens after I send this?”

Tidewater Bathrooms

A bathroom renovator whose buyers worry about leaks and disruption. The site leads with the waterproofing story and keeps each bathroom type separate.

What this layout does

Service area and licence in the top strip
The two things a Queensland buyer checks first sit above everything else on every page.
Three bathroom types, three paths
Ensuites, main bathrooms and accessible bathrooms each lead to their own section and projects.
The job order, with waterproofing highlighted
Five plain steps show where the membrane goes in, which is the part owners never see.
Project pages with progress tags
Tags show which projects include progress photos, for buyers who want to see the work behind the tiles.

Kestrel Lane Joinery

A workshop that sells custom joinery to homeowners and made-to-drawing joinery to builders. The site splits the two audiences from the first click.

What this layout does

Two doors in the navigation
“For homeowners” and “For builders and designers” replace a generic menu, so each visitor reads only what applies.
Materials as swatches
Veneers, finishes and hardware are shown as a row of samples, the way a showroom would lay them out.
A trade panel that asks for plans
Builders see the three things they care about and a “Send plans” button, not a colour consult.
Detail over wide shots
Imagery leads with the joinery itself rather than whole rooms, which is where a workshop’s skill shows.

Websites for cabinet makers and joiners

One business, two very different websites

One fictional kitchen business, on the kind of site many renovators still have and on its sample design. Move the divide. The older site says “welcome”, hides the licence, sends buyers to Facebook and offers a gallery link instead of described projects. The sample says what the business does and where, shows the licence under the navigation and asks for one clear next step.
